The company I designed for (project44) was tasked to plan its first annual Transportation and Logistics Summit here in Chicago. We started the initial planning only a month and a half in advance with an extremely quick turnaround deadline of early October. After securing the location at the trendy Ace Hotel in West Loop, I got to work on bringing this conference to life.
The overall goal was to create a setting that didn’t feel stuffy and boring, like most summits in this industry. The task was right up my alley, since I’m known for creating bold designs while still keeping the overall feel very professional. From the look of nametags to the folders containing the programs, I wanted to keep a branded experience throughout, while adding elements such as circles and lines which tie back into the brand of project44.
Overall, I completed designs in one and a half months for nametags, programs, flyers, digital advertisements, posters, signs, magnets, maps, and banners. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, and 100% of the polled attendees would return in 2018.
